There’s nothing more satisfying than sinking your teeth in a juicy, mouthwatering burger. So why not prepare it yourself?

Shop at Tenderbites and make a patty out of our regular ground beef cuts! Our meat is 70% lean, giving you the right amount of fat and flavor for grilling your burgers.

Ground beef is made from specific lean and fatty parts of the cow. It can come from the round, chuck, and sirloin beef cuts. You should always check the label when purchasing this choice cut because it indicates the type of ground beef you’re getting. Not all ground beef is the same as some are leaner or fatter than others.

TenderBites Regular Ground Beef’s 70/30 ratio of lean meat to fat content gives it a juicy flavor that’s perfect for burgers. Moreover, it is an excellent source of protein, B vitamins, iron, and zinc.

Regular ground beef can be grilled or broiled. Some choose to drain it to reduce its fat and enhance its beefy flavor. This choice cut is ideal for burgers because it produces a strong crust and char on the outside while keeping the inside of the patty moist.

Serve delicious dishes with regular ground beef only from TenderBites. Our choice cuts are ideal for single-serves and salu-salo dishes as we follow a per-kilo basis with every order. FAQ

Why does my regular ground beef shrink?
Ground beef shrinks the most when cooked because of its high-fat content. It has around 25 to 30% fat since it comes from brisket and shank trimmings. For example, a six-ounce regular ground beef burger loses about a third of its fat while being cooked. However, not all the fat becomes rendered during the cooking process, as some fat still remains to give flavor to the ground beef.
Are there any risks of eating ground beef?
Eating more than 18 ounces of red meat such as ground beef has been linked to increasing the risk of colorectal cancer, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. We advise keeping a close eye on the amount of ground beef you eat.
How should regular ground beef be stored?
Your ground beef should be placed in the refrigerator or freezer as soon as possible. The low temperature preserves its freshness and slows down bacterial growth. When stored in the fridge, keep it at 40°F or below and use it within one to two days. Place it on the bottom shelves to avoid dripping onto other foods.
If you plan to store the meat for a more extended period, wrap it in heavy-duty plastic wraps or plastic bags made for freezing. It can be stored in the freezer for up to four months. However, you should remember that ground beef loses its quality over time.
How do I thaw ground beef?
Move your ground beef from the freezer to the refrigerator to thaw it. Keeping it at a low temperature further prevents bacteria growth. If you want to defrost it faster, you can put it in the microwave oven or cold water until you can easily handle the meat.
