If you’re after a tender and well-marbled steak, rib-eye is your best bet. Since this cut includes a delicious fat cap called the spinalis dorsi, it’s one of the most desirable steaks out there. It may be small, but the rib-eye cap gives you all that buttery goodness on top of a strong and beefy flavor.
Other popular steak cuts in our selection include striploin and T-bone cuts. Striploin or New York strip steaks are perfect in medium and medium-rare to bring out their stronger flavor. Meanwhile, T-bone steaks are the best of both worlds since they have a portion of both the tenderloin and strip side of the beef. If you want something bigger that still has both cuts in one, you can go for a porterhouse steak instead.
